Injuries are most often related to poor body mechanics or something erratic in your training program, such as inconsistencies due to the balance or placements of key workouts, or overtraining.
When you have an injury, Janet will take you through the steps of form work and program development to get you through your injury as quickly as possible without compromising your long term goals.
Janet will work with you step-by-step through the recovery process, integrating pool therapy, short runs, and other recovery techniques. Depending on the type of injury and your base with running, you might have to temporarily put your mileage and speed goals aside to recover properly and correct the problems that resulted in the injury. On the other hand, she has helped many runners continue training straight through their injuries without compromising their training program or race goals at all.
